These palaces are privately owned or governmentally managed and are the choice locations for movie shooting.

Tips: The palaces are private or govt. property so it is advisable to make the bookings in advance.

This town enjoyed the stature of the biggest estate next to the Gayakwad. The college building in Rajpipla used to be the European Guest House developed to serve foreign delegates and the present ‘government high school building' was the secretariat of the king. Lal Tower, also recognized by the creator architects’ name as Simon’s Tower contributes to the princely state identity of Rajpipla.

The Ovaro (pier) built on Karjan River by then maharaja beautifies the riverside landscape. The horse rider statue of Maharaja Vijaysighji was rose to honour his victory in world renowned Derby Race in London, reminds visitors of entering the princely estate.

The architectural welcome gates in the city Victoria Gate and Surya Darwaja had popularised Rajpipla as the estate rich in heritage monuments.

Tips: School-colleges are functioning in some of these places thus advisable to visit during holidays.
